Podcast #15 - Hiver

Silenzioso come l'inverno. Il progetto è il frutto di una ricerca attenta e in costante evoluzione. Il percorso musicale prende forma negli spazi più decadenti della metropoli. La forma musicale è caratterizzata da una trama ben definita di melodie echeggianti e ritmiche, ipnotiche e ossessive. Il pensiero diventa lo strumento attraverso il quale i suoni prendono forma. Lo spettro musicale racchiude elementi scuri e distanti che lentamente si evolvono per dare spazio a ritmi più definiti e lineari. La ricerca del suono è influenzata da sonorità affini al loro credo. Seguono in maniera composta la costruzione del loro set, nulla al caso ma mai premeditato. E l' incontro tra due menti a dare vita ad "Hiver". Le influenze musicali che compongono questo intreccio sonoro spaziano dai ritmi più cupi della dub-techno alle linee melodiche caratterizzanti la scena musicale di detroit. Il suono analogico e avvolgente completa un processo di creazione sempre originale e mai scontato. Il risultato è un mondo musicale senza tempo e ricco di sfumature sonore.

Silent like winter. The project is the result of a careful research that is always in evolution. The musical journey takes form in the most decadent spaces of metropolis. The musical form is characterized by a well-defined plot of echoing melodies and hypnotic and haunting rhythms. Thought becomes the instrument through which the sounds are formed. The musical spectrum contains dark and distant elements that slowly evolve giving space to more defined and linear rhythms. The sound research is influenced by sonorities related to their beliefs. They follow the construction of their set,nothing is left to chance. The "HIVER" project was born from the meeting of two minds. The influences that compose this musical weaving range from the darkest rhythms of dub-techno to the melodic lines that characterize the music scene in Detroit. The analog and enveloping sound complete a process of creation that is always new and unexpected.
The project is the result of two minds encounter: a sound designer and a sound engineer. Giuseppe and Sergio were born in the same town divided by few hundreds of meters, but they only met each other in Milan. Since the feeling was found out, the works produced during several nights spent together were noticed by various European labels. From then on, they understood that their productions could have an interesting sound and a unique importance. Their first release was signed by Vidab Records. They have remixed one of german's techno masters, Oliver Deutschmann - the success of these 2 works allowed them to play all around europe in the next 6 months. In a short time, their sound got finer and they reached the goal to enter the Curle lobby with an E.p. that contains a remix by the well-known Tobias. Actually, they are resident at Dude Club in Milan and their sets are made up by a precise merger of techno, house, dub and mental sounds. Moreover, all that is proposed with vinyls. Nothing is left to chance in their productions and everything has a clear structure that is studied in every single detail.
